New South Wales defeated Diamond Eagles comfortably by 53 runs. Batting first New South Wales scored 144 runs for the loss of 6 wickets as Simon Katich Scored a fifty. Diamond Eagles in reply were restricted to 91 for 9 in their 20 overs with some solid bowling performance from Stuart Clark who took the man of the match award.
