The Airtel Twenty20 Champions League is an international Twenty20 cricket competition between clubs from India, Australia, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and West Indies. This Twenty 20 Champions League is chaired by Lalit Modi. It was launched in 2008 but due to various reasons was cancelled and rescheduled to be held from October 2009. Indian mobile service Bharti Airtel has bought the title sponsorship rights of the champions league for the reported amount of rupees 170 crores. The trophy for this competition was unveiled recently. Here is how it looks.
